Blue Sunshine

With Robert Smith working with Siouxsie and the Banshees, and then Siouxsie and Budgie from the Banshees working as the Creatures, and then Smith and Steve Severin working with another singer, Landray, and then a copious amount of certain substances and more adding to the madness, it’s a bit surprising Blue Sunshine ever came out. But it did, and not only does it find an amazing Cure/Banshees midpoint but it sparkles in its own right, a vivid slice of early 80s post-punk psychedelia.
