The Ballistic Brothers vs the Eccentric Afro’s, Vol. 2

Released

The second mini album from TBBVTEA’s project is another heavy-duty sample-fest, a set of musical quotations repurposed and set to looped breaks and club beats, lost snippets of soul and funk history reworked into new forms. Much like its predecessor which was released in the same year, it’s essentially an exercise in the early hip hop DJ concept of only using the very best parts of the very best records to create new jams from old, and as a collection of funky, sample-based club or car jams, it does this extremely well indeed.
