Matthew Ingram is famous in his own head for throwing raves in West Africa in the early nineties, writing the cult Woebot blog which was grist for Chris Morris's "Nathan Barley" character, and setting up the Dissensus forum with the theorist Mark Fisher. He has written for The Wire and FACT magazines. His first book "Retreat: How the Counterculture invented Wellness" is out in July 2020 on Repeater.
