This is one magical ass drone record, absolutely removed from rock and roll. Maybe there’s a slight link to Spacemen 3 or Sonic Boom but this is really on its own in the soil that later birthed Tim Hecker and a hundred buddies with pink noise, white haze, and gray baseball caps. Carefully done though the tourist won’t care, Tired Sounds is solid and decades ahead of its time.
