A Moon Shaped Pool
Released
Continuing to follow their own way around release schedules as the members saw fit, Radiohead emerged from a five year studio hiatus with A Moon Shaped Pool, a continuing refinement of their not-quite-rock-but-not-quite-anything-else exploratory sonic and lyrical impulses. Some long-time live favorites like “True Love Waits” finally emerged in studio versions — said song itself was the striking final number on the album — while other songs like “Identikit” and “Daydreaming” showed the band’s ever-present knack for new, compelling listens.
