Congo Natty signals the breadth of his musical and social vision on this sprawling, 31-track album. It opens with a Native American flute solo and then proceeds to incorporate other elements of global music traditions over the course of over two hours of music. He draws on samples both familiar and obscure, builds and layers complex and funky grooves, and features vocalists as diverse as Falle Nike, Blackout JA, and Nãnci Correia. The result is a jungle album unlike any other you’ve heard.
