It is indicative of how hot and bothered the post-punk period was that the final Rip, Rig and Panic album was easily their most commercial. The horn charts are truly coherent and appealing, a sort of cabaret madness vibe. “Keep The Sharks From Your Heart” would have been a minor hit in the vein of ABC and Haircut 100 in a different timeline, though not this one. The band dissolved and became Float Up CP for a moment before returning to the mists whence they came.
