CREEP TAPES: 鬼

Released

Not a lot is known about Hiroshima’s SKINDANCE apart from their musical output and maybe most souls would prefer it stay that way. Their output speaks volumes, though; this is drum and bass for lurkers, seemingly inspired by golden age video game music by the blippy synths that try and pop out through the muck of some truly nasty basslines. Their ongoing CREEP TAPES series is maybe the best place to start with their discography. It’s squishy and upbeat but keeps its nightmare cloak on the entire time. And then it’s over. And you reach for the mouse and click “play” again, and again, and again.
