Coming Up

Released

With Richard Oakes established on keyboards and vocals as well as Brett Anderson’s new songwriting foil, all Suede had to do to show they still had it was release a new album in the year after 1995’s Britpop triumph in the UK. Did they ever: resulting in a massive run of smash UK singles, with Coming Up Suede equalled and surpassed the glam-rock-for-the-nineties vibe of their debut, with ridiculously catchy songs like “Trash,” “Beautiful Ones,” “Saturday Night” and “Lazy” saying it all.
