Coup d’état

Released

Chainsaw- and shotgun-wielding (an inspiration for Ash in Evil Dead II?) iconoclast Wendy O. Williams bared her chest and her soul on stage. Williams may not have been much of a singer, but she made herself clear. In their final album and most blatant metal move, this automobile-wrecking punk unit put their heavy machinery towards celebrating kinky sex, their chosen form of music, and Motorhead. Their trail of destruction got them banned from every MTV program except the only one with taste: Beavis and Butthead. Check out the Coup De Grace demo release from 2000 if you want to hear the same songs with even gnarlier production.
