Along with Rosalía and her band of collaborators, DJ Python is one of the producers taking reggaeton to places it might not otherwise go. He’s loyal to the pattern of the underlying dembow rhythm but that’s about it. He’s an absolute wizard with big boofy pads and dreamy bits that wrap around the metallic pilings that hold everything up. Honestly, who he sounds like here is The Orb of reggaeton and that’s a really good thing.
