Dos Dedos Mis Amigos

Released

The final album by the original PWEI lineup brought what until then must have seemed like the most curious idea in the world to the fore: what if the band were…serious? Their freer spirits weren‘t gone by any means on Dos Dedos Mis Amigos but a more open turn towards industrial rock was evident — something that matched with a label signing in America by a notable fan, Trent Reznor — and the harder social and sonic edges of “Ich Bin Ein Auslander” and “Everything‘s Cool” showed they were just as effective with that as they‘d been with earlier singles and albums.
