Ebbhead

The continuing transformation of Nitzer Ebb from straight up electronics and declamations to a more varied but just as strangely compelling beast continued on Ebbhead, with the duo aiming for a new kind of anthemic punch at points throughout the album. “I Give To You,” the lead single, was practically a Young Gods tribute in ways, all windswept romanticism and heavy orchestral arrangement, but “Godhead” was the real rocker, mixing up actual headbanging moments with the kind of lyrics that suggest all kinds of perversions. (Seriously – a chair?)
