Epic Dreamy Escapade

The dizzying output of Lagos outsider-pop auteur Eseomo Ayoola Mayaki aka Seo is even more overwhelming given she is also releasing a near constant stream of material under her Moonbather guise. This 2023 release does exactly what it says on the tin — it may only be short at just over 20 minutes, but it certainly captures an epic nocturnal exploration of shadows and dreams. Where some of her work is more beat driven and dubbily spacious, this is a little more vocal led, and amazingly given how much she pours out, constantly full of new and delightful hooks.
