Released

While 1994’s Hex, Bark Psychosis’s debut full-length, is what fully brought the work of Graham Sutton and company to a wider audience, they had already released a series of remarkable singles thankfully compiled and released that same year, Independency. Presented slightly out of order, the first four songs come from their Cheree singles, capturing the band at their most straightforward, but by the release of the Manman EP and especially “Scum,” a twenty-one minute exploration of improvisation and tension, they were heading towards the beyond.
