A jazz-rock-funk-disco Frankenstein that sort of had to be Italian. The album begins with one of those dark and hilariously great spooky breakbeats that DJ Shadow probably has three copies of and then segues into weird cruise ship disco and then babysoft rock and weird reggae and then some Shaft-ish funk a little past its sell-by date. What happens when the idea of taste is, quite rightly, jettisoned.
