Liquid Oxygen Kerosene

Following their collaborative album named Neutraliser in 2022, the duo of Mike Vest and Charlie Butler took that as the name of their project for further releases in the following year, including the three song Liquid Oxygen Kerosene. With both having plenty of experience in defiantly underground psychedelic acts, what makes the instrumental album intriguing is its gloomy yet strangely serene darkness, with opening track “Liquid” a roil of ominous ambience setting the tone for both the shorter “Oxygen” and a slow shift to almost a kind of brightness in “Kerosene.”
