My Life in the Bush of Ghosts
Released
Even accounting for everything Eno and Talking Heads had done together up to this joint release, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts sounds like a version of ’80s art pop almost nobody else was ready for, much less expected. Found-voice abstraction meets rhythmic directness, hiding genre-rewriting exercises in plain sight so all you really need to listen for is the way things move.
