A semi-sequel to The Verve EP designed for an American audience in combination with the band’s second stage stint at Lollapalooza that year — not counting even another US-only live EP, Voyager 1, that surfaced in 1993 — No Come Down is a random but handy slumgullion of various Storm in Heaven-and-thereabouts tracks. Acoustic and live cuts, including a striking version of “Gravity Grave,” mingled with a variety of B-sides, including an amazing effort from their very first single, the beautiful, building emotional reach of “One Way to Go.”
