No Te Metas Con Satán
Released
A side project of Eblis Alvarez of Meridian Brothers and Pedro Ojeda of Romperayo, Chupame El Dedo continue their exploration of Latin American sounds with an approach that moves between the comical, absurd, and at times even grotesque. The duo draw on cumbia, metal, reggaeton, global bass, and early 2000s hip hop of the Quasimoto and MadVillain tradition, but infuse everything with a psychedelic and cartoonish touch. Some of the tracks unfold as funny and bizarre stories, but it can all be a bit much if you don’t understand the language. Still, diving into the musical madness of No Te Metas con Satan is well worth it.
