Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Soundtrack)

Released

The soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s alternate Tinseltown history is on the one hand ‘just’ another such effort by someone for whom musical cues and choices are almost more important than the actual films themselves. But Once Upon A Time In Hollywood also functions as a surprisingly effective end-of-the-sixties sampler for the time and place, with the interspersed DJ announcements from the era, not to mention various ads real or imagined, fitting in among AM pop and rock radio favorites.
