Passion - Sources

Released by Peter Gabriel as a companion piece to his own album Passion, his awe-inducing soundtrack to Martin Scorcese’s The Last Temptation of Christ, Passion - Sources served as both a showcase for his RealWorld label as well as a way to highlight artists and inspirations for that soundtrack. With such remarkable performers as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Baaba Maal and Hossam Ramzy among many others featured, the compilation was self-consciously tasteful but absolutely engaging listening stop to start.
