Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed & The Way to Suck Eggs

Released

It wasn’t quite the final chief moment of the Ministry-and-associated-acts 80s-into-90s high water mark — that would go to the following year’s Revolting Cocks album Linger Fickin’ Good — but 1992’s Psalm 69 was unquestionably a culmination, a pinnacle the band never quite recaptured. Starting with the shuddering, tightly wound explosion of “N.W.O.,” Psalm 69 took Al Jourgensen’s digital cowboy outlaw in hell persona to its often foul-mouthed limit, with other notable tracks including “Just One Fix” and the Gibby Haynes-sung “Jesus Built My Hotrod.”
