The English Beat’s third and final album definitely has a valedictory feel to it. Here they continue to have one collective foot in Two Tone ska and another in new wave popcraft, with genre exercises like “Spar wit Me” and “Pato and Roger a Go Talk” rubbing up against the jangly guitar rock of “Save It for Later” and the driving “Rotating Heads.” But it was “End of the Party” that sent the clearest signal things were falling apart.
