Swing The Heartache: The BBC Sessions

Recorded
1980-1983
Released

Bauhaus’s various BBC radio performances, for John Peel as well as David “Kid” Jensen, were the source of a variety of formally released tracks, most notably the fraught angst of “Double Dare” and their dramatic covers of David Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust” and Brian Eno’s “Third Uncle.” Swing The Heartache compiles all these and a number of other performances, including a couple of engaging rarities: an otherwise unreleased original song, the heavily-percussive track “Poison Pen,” and a cover of the Strangeloves’ garage classic “Night Time.”
