These are Dreams

Released

Rapoon is the solo project of Zoviet France cofounder Robin Storey; under this pseudonym he has released an extensive catalog of (mostly) instrumental music built on a foundation of drum machines, Middle Eastern percussion, dub techniques, and ambient vibes. The music is often eerie, sometimes deeply beautiful, and often both. Case in point: “Moth Man,” which takes cheesy Casiotone percussion and blends it with violin, vocal samples, and unidentifiable other elements to create a rippling, groovy, and unsettling track. The rest of the album is similar in concept but every track is unique.
