Following a 2022 single debut with the moody/quirky synthpop pulse of “Haffmilch Holiday,” Decisive Pink aka the combined effort of individually great artists Kate NV and Angel Deradoorian released its first full length the following year. Ticket to Fame showcases electronic pop experimentation with a sense of drawing on prime work by Peter Gabriel, Tom Tom Club and Laurie Anderson, with intriguing melodies matched with vocals and lyrics with a genteel bubbling energy. “Ode to Boy” and “Cosmic Dancer” – neither are covers – are highlights.
