Tony Fletcher Walked On Water

Released

While the release of these songs caused internal band controversy at the time, the members having recently split in part due to the death of the group’s manager memorialized in the title, this four song collection of demos in the wake of Strange Times showed that a fourth album would have been amazing. The sweeter sway of “Is It Any Wonder?” and the cascading flow of “Denims and Curls” are remarkable enough but the vivid build of “The Healer,” one of their best epic length songs, was next level.
