Tresor

Released

There isn’t really a word for the United States of America to Broadcast to Now pipeline, but Gwenno is in the Now folder. Because she sings in Cornish, I cannot tell you what the lyrics on this album are dealing with, I am sorry. Tresor is a soft version of hard, gently abraded pop music rendered as watercolor miniatures. These are quietly brilliant bits of melancholy rendered as holiday poppers, little plastic chairs and trombones spilling all over the floor as you follow the melodies around the room. A sort of Continental cheer machine?
