Watch Me Dance

Toddla T got his start as a DJ, but soon moved into production and remixing. His second full-length album includes some of the leading lights of British hip hop, grime, and electro, including the mighty Roots Manuva (on the title track), Ms. Dynamite (on “How Beautiful It Would Be” and “Fly”), and Moloko alumna Róisín Murphy (on “Cherry Picking”). Toddla’s got exquisite taste in beats and textures, and builds them expertly — particularly on highlight tracks like “Cherry Picking” and the deeply cantankerous “Badman Flu.”
