Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Shfl does not have ads, so we do not collect data for advertising purposes. In order to make Shfl work as well as possible, we do collect information about how you use the service, such as pages you visit, referral information, and device/browser type. We use this information in order to improve Shfl and generate aggregate information about how people are using the service. Should you decide to log in, we also save your email and name. We do not share any information with third parties.

Tracking and Cookies

We use a browser cookie in order to recognize you when you return, and to personalize what you see. For example, we use the cookie to keep track of your active filters and albums you've already been shown during a session. We wouldn't be able to filter albums without this cookie, so it is necessary for Shfl's basic functionality. We also use Firebase Authentication for user authentication and Plausible for gathering anonymized site usage data. Both of these tools use only first-party cookies, we do not use any third-party cookies.
