Oliver Wang

Oliver Wang is a professor of sociology at CSU-Long Beach and since 1994, he has written regularly on music, food and other pop culture for outlets including NPR’s All Things Considered, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Los Angeles Times, and KCET’s Artbound. In the mid-2000s, he created the audioblog, Soul-Sides.com and since 2017, he has been the co-host of the weekly music/interview podcast, Heat Rocks.
