The second of Front 242’s studio albums was an intriguing effort on several levels – not quite a remix collection, not quite a collection of castoffs, not quite a mirror to the earlier 06:21:03:11 Up Evil, though similarly sharing an alphabetic coding for the actual title. An extremely notable change
from the earlier album as well as most of the band’s earlier work was that singer Christine Kowalski took many of the lead vocals, while musically it’s among the band’s most avant-garde work, exchanging their focused anthems for wider explorations into techno and experimental sonics.
