A Time to Die

Angel-Ho’s 2021 album addressed the havoc wrought both broadly and personally by COVID – her 2020 effort Woman Call came out just as lockdowns hit worldwide – but even more was a new statement of purpose all around for what modern electronic dance music could be. A Time To Die sonically and lyrically addresses anger, identity, new forms of energy and an even broader vocal and musical palette than ever, evident in the space and moods of songs like the dramatic shuddering melodrama of “Dancing On Air” and the charge of “Express Your Way.”
