This is an ensemble in the Bang on a Can constellation: guitar, cello, double bass (two!) and percussion. This album has the delicacy of an Arthur Russell composition while also having the formal complexity of Henry Threadgill or Morton Feldman (and any number of minimalists). Live players who understand the ways of computers without having to use them. Bright, alive, loving music.
