Dig The New Breed

Released

Assembling a single live album to do justice to a group who were first and foremost a live act with a fanatical following was Dig The New Breed’s task. It covers the entire span of the Jam’s career from the punk days with a performance of their debut ‘In The City’ from 1977 to recordings from 1982. Mixing up big hits like ‘Going Underground’ and ‘Start’ with album tracks and popular live covers like their high octane take on Eddie Floyd’s ‘Big Bird’, it’s a good testament to their power as a live outfit. Impassioned, aggressive, full-pelt mod-rock.
