Electric

Famously, or perhaps infamously, rerecorded after initial sessions with Love producer Steve Brown were thought to not pass muster (the various tracks that have surfaced since are cavernous sounding, to put it lightly), Rick Rubin came in to do one of his earliest production jobs to the full, applying his sense of focused punch via hip-hop to create the wired kick of Electric. It’s definitely an AC/DC tribute in more ways than one, but hard to argue against the compelling delivery of “Love Removal Machine” and “Wild Flower,” to name two highlights.
