Matthew Barnes minted a low-key classic ten years ago with this one. It’s a peaceful freakout of dub and agrarian doom beats, or something. It’s sort of like runway music for fashion week if tumbleweeds and diamonds are walking. The spooky Tri Angle records vibe that also depended on The Haxan Cloak and Evian Christ very much depends on this album. Gorgeous and icy and borked out.
