Woozy psychedelic rock where you can practically see the vibrations in the air behind the band as they move. Dead Meadow added second guitarist Cory Shane on this release, and it makes all the difference, filling out the vapor trails left by Jason Simon. Their combination of slow-motion 60s psych and ominous 90s shoegaze fuzz made for a sinister, seductive pairing – especially when they let loose the dogs on “Such Hawks, Such Hounds.”
