Little Queen

If you want to know why so many Americans were a little underwhelmed by the Sex Pistols, look to the Wilson sisters and Little Queen, led by the greatest car song of that year, “Barracuda,” and yes, that includes “Dreams.” Go to the title track when you’ve worn out “Barracuda.” Remember though, that Nancy Wilson is a killer on the mandolin, and that they were equally about making themselves a parallel Zeppelin, not just a smarter bar rock band. Bonus: “Say Hello” is a song that will likely stump everyone in your house, all of whom will love it. A great take on commercial rock.
