Greg Sanders, a.k.a. Distance, is a producer and founder of the mighty Chestplate Records label, a major source of the best in dark, minimal dubstep. His solo work exemplifies the sound for which Chestplate has become known: heavy but spacious, dubwise and often eerie, with none of the rave-up gestures that typify the work of his more pop-oriented “brostep” peers.
