Rain, Rain, Rain

I feel like more people used to put in the work doing that LA Gram Parsons vibe, with the half-asleep soul routine with the acoustic guitars and pedal steel. I don’t know if anybody has gotten it this right since The Jayhawks and, not to be sacrilegious, but Parsons was only with us a short time, so there are a lot of empty pages left in the country rock stoner playbook. My guy is a little less rugged and morbid that Parsons, with maybe a touch more LA than Nashville in his bank.
