Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven

Released

Growing out of what was an abortive attempt at an initial Bauhaus reunion that Peter Murphy turned down, the remaining three members, building to some degree on what they’d done on that band’s Burning From the Inside album, started a new career with an audibly different approach. Embracing a blend of moody psychedelia and elegantly poised mid-80s production styles, Seventh Dream emphasizes longer numbers, the respectively coolly crisp and conversational vocals of Daniel Ash and David J, and an air of feeling their way forward.
