Songs to Learn and Sing

One of the classic compilations from the world of 1980s modern rock, however broadly defined, Songs To Learn and Sing served perfect double duty as both a summation of what Echo and the Bunnymen had already achieved and a compact introduction for the curious. Besides drawing on at least one song each from their first four albums, a clutch of essential singles-only cuts made their first full-length appearance, including the early favorite “Do It Clean,” the elegant energy and punch of “Never Stop” and a majestic new single, “Bring on the Dancing Horses.”
