They describe themselves as a “grindpunk band from Michigan” and I will not argue with that but I think you’d hear this as metal? I do and I’m not sure what would make it grindpunk, since the screamed vocals and chunky guitar sounds are common to metal but maybe it’s the quick pace and lack of cheesiness that makes this music what they think it is. This trio has no time for shenanigans, so they lurch and lange and charge ahead through fifteen songs, very few of them reaching three minutes (which, I guess, is the punk part).
