Yank Crime

The second and final full album by Drive Like Jehu was perhaps only topped by the group’s live shows in support of it, with performances that are still talked about with awe by those lucky enough to attend. Whether one wanted to call it emo, screamo, post-hardcore, art rock, or even just a very focused form of metal, Yank Crime was one building, tightly wound song after another, Rick Froberg’s intense wails on songs like “Luau” and “Do You Compute” the final key touch.
