I listened to “Damn Right” about 6000 times when it came out, and I’ll get there with the album. This woman loves hyper crisp rapping and very heavy kicks, which she swaps out with the high singsong hooks. There are deep and sweet little vectors here, and her brand of light is that of the skateboarder or tagger, wasting no energy when nailing the loop.
