EMI Records is the British record label launched in 1973 under the EMI name. Its catalogue has included recordings by Queen, Kate Bush, Iron Maiden and many other artists across pop and rock. Universal Music revived the EMI Records name in 2020 as the successor to Virgin EMI, with Virgin continuing as a separate imprint.
