Sony Music Special Products was a CBS/Sony recording imprint for catalogue reissues, compilations and special-market releases. The operation had used the CBS Special Products and Columbia Special Products names before adopting Sony branding in 1991. Its releases drew on the group’s recorded catalogue for retail, promotional and other specialist editions.
