Angst In My Pants

Released

Arguably the equivalent of Kimono My House for Sparks’s early 80s New Wave days, with a now-rabid LA fanbase making them local superstars, Angst In My Pants found the Maels in absolutely stellar form start to stop. Songs like “Nicotina” and “Sherlock Holmes” let their ear for slower, stirring numbers and melodrama be showcased appropriately, while songs like the sly title track, the huge stomp and crunch of “I Predict” and the giddy ridiculousness of “Sextown U.S.A.” and “Moustache” were their own crazed delights.
